Olive Branch Citizens Police Academy Class 33 Trains With Criminal Investigations Unit
On May 14, Citizens Police Academy Class 33 met with the Olive Branch Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division for a presentation and a mock crime scene exercise, the department said.
Major Reginald Harris introduced the session, and Lt. Ashley Holladay, Detective LaDarrius Triplett and Detective Julie Humble gave a presentation on the daily work of the division, according to the department.
Class members were divided into two groups for a mock crime scene challenge, with Group 2 declared the winner, the department said.
The Olive Branch Police Department said it values opportunities for citizens to learn about departmental work and thanked the detectives involved for their time and dedication.
The department also thanked Domino’s and Jason Shifflett for providing dinner to the class, the post said.
