Olive Branch police say Citizens Police Academy Class 33 graduates
The Olive Branch Police Department congratulated Citizens Police Academy Class 33 on completing the program, the department said in a social media post.
The department said class members spent several weeks learning about daily operations and specialized divisions, including patrol operations, criminal investigations, K-9 demonstrations, defensive tactics, EVOC and drone operations.
The department thanked instructors, officers, staff members, community partners, sponsors and volunteers for helping make the academy a success and said it hopes the program strengthened ties between the department and the community.
The Olive Branch Police Department also recognized Mrs. Charlotte Zortman with a Lifetime Achievement Award for 16 years of volunteer service and said the next Citizens Police Academy is scheduled for fall 2026.
