Olive Branch Police Deliver Chickens to Honor Animal Control Officers
The Olive Branch Police Department delivered rotisserie chickens to animal control officers this week to recognize National Animal Control Week, Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch said.
The city said the gesture was meant to show appreciation for officers’ work. “The care, compassion, and dedication they show to the animals in our community does not go unnoticed and it truly deserves recognition,” the city said.
The city also urged residents to adopt animals, saying many are ready to find forever homes. The message said a video with instructions was included among the photos accompanying the post.
The message was attributed to Ken Adams, Olive Branch mayor, and posted by the City of Olive Branch – Government, the city said.
