Olive Branch police hand out rotisserie chickens for National Animal Control Week

The Olive Branch Police Department delivered rotisserie chickens to animal control officers this week to mark National Animal Control Week, the department said.

The department said the gesture was meant to recognize the officers’ care, compassion and dedication to animals in the community.

A city social media post listed Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Animal Shelter, the department said.

The department described the food as a small token of appreciation for the officers’ work, saying their efforts do not go unnoticed, the post said.
