Olive Branch Police Department’s CPA Class 34 visited a firing range and trained alongside the department’s SWAT team, according to a post by the department.
Class members also observed the department’s drone operations in real time. The department said the participants saw the tools and techniques used by the team and gained a deeper understanding of the role each piece of equipment plays during operations.
The department said watching the drone in action provided additional insight into modern policing and tactical response.
