Members of Olive Branch Police Department’s Community Police Academy Class #34 recently met with Lieutenant Bill Higdon of the department’s Traffic Enforcement Division, the Olive Branch Police Department said. The class was introduced to traffic enforcement strategies and learned how major accidents in the city are reassessed through accident reconstruction.
Later that evening, Officer Taylor Lawson and Officer Briana Stuckey presented information about the department’s DUI Unit. Participants were shown how DUI testing is conducted and took part in driving scenarios while wearing impairment goggles.
The department thanked the officers involved for their time and dedication in providing class members with a hands-on look at traffic enforcement and DUI operations.
