The City of Horn Lake issued a statement during National Police Week praising the Horn Lake Police Department and thanking officers for their “courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment,” the statement said.
The statement said department members are willing “to run toward danger when others run away, to stand in the gap during difficult moments, and to serve with strength, integrity, and compassion.”
The city said the sacrifices of officers “do not go unnoticed” and that it is grateful for their service “today and every day.”
The statement concluded by thanking the Horn Lake Police Department “for all that you do for our city,” the city said.
