The PCSO posted a message thanking its correctional officers for their work, the agency said.
The PCSO said it observes National Correctional Officers Week in the first week of May. This yearthe agency saidthe observance runs May 3-9.
The agency said former President Ronald Reagan established the observance on May 5, 1984, to thank correctional officers for their service and contributions to society.
In its message, the PCSO wrote, “Thank You PCSO Jailers for all you do!”
