The Southaven Fire Department announced a Battle of the Badges basketball showdown against the Southaven Police Department, describing the matchup as friendly but fierce and encouraging the public to attend and support Team Fire.
A portion of every ticket purchased in support of the Southaven Fire Department will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help support its lifesaving mission, according to the department.
The department said one ticket provides admission to both the Battle of the Badges and a Memphis Hustle game.
