The Southaven Police Department and Southaven Fire Department will meet at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, for the Battle of the Badges basketball game at Landers Center, according to a post from the Southaven Police Department.
The game will bring personnel from the two departments together for a competitive basketball matchup before the Memphis Hustle plays the Osceola Magic at home, the department said. The event is promoted under the theme “Play Like the Pros.”
A portion of each ticket sold will support the Southaven Police Department’s annual Shop with a Cop initiative. The department encouraged people to buy tickets in advance.
