A man walked away from a Southaven healthcare facility on Monday afternoon and the search is on to find him. A Silver Alert has now been issued by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
Southaven police have identified him as Charles Thomas Bailey, age 61 of Amory. Police said Bailey is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds. Bailey has short gray facial hair.
Police noted there is no clothing description available at this time, but Bailey could be utilizing a walking cane. He was last seen in the area of Stateline Road and Airways Blvd. and he does not have a cell phone.
Family members said Bailey suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
