Man arrested after search in Panola County turns up child sexual abuse material

On June 29, Task Force officers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted the Panola County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division in executing a search warrant at the residence of Joseph Kelley, 23, of Batesville, the sheriff’s office said. Kelley was arrested on a charge of possession of child sexual abuse material.

The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, which hosts the state’s ICAC Task Force, said the effort includes nearly 90 law enforcement agencies and about 145 personnel across the state to address threats to children.
