School cleared after bomb threat report

Police were called to search Horn Lake High School Wednesday morning after a call to the school stating a bomb was inside the building.

According to DeSoto County Schools, the call came about 9:15 a.m. and students were immediately evacuated to the athletic fields behind the building, located at 3360 Church Road.

Officers searched the high school and about 10 a.m. determined there actually was no bomb threat to the school.

Students were then allowed to return to class and continued what became a normal school day.
