Boil Water Alert cleared for part of Horn Lake

On Monday, Aug. 7, the City of Horn Lake announced the all-clear for a portion of the Twin Lakes area that had been in a Boil Water Alert, as water samples were cleared by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Thus, the cleared areas were reported as:

Horn Lake officials last Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 2 had issued a Boil Water Alert for customers in the Twin Lakes area. A water main break during contracted construction is the reason behind the alert being issued.  

The Boil Water Alert is included inside this area.

Streets affected start at 5810 Chickasaw Drive and end at 5556 Chickasaw Drive, according to a social media post by the city. Also affected are Chickasaw Cove, Lakeview Cove and all of Karen Drive. The entire area is south of Nail Road.  

These areas were advised to boil water until samples are collected and results are cleared by the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH).
