The railroad will perform maintenance at the Stateline crossing on Wednesday, Aug. 19, according to officials. The work will close Stateline Road between Horn Lake Road and Highway 51, with restrictions in place from 8 a.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
During this period, no traffic will be allowed across the tracks. Detour signs will be posted at Stateline and Horn Lake Road to guide motorists. Local traffic will be permitted, but all other traffic should follow the posted detours.
Officials also noted that truck route enforcement in the area will be suspended during the construction. Proper truck routes will resume immediately after the roadway reopens.
