8000 Windersgate Road closed to through traffic Aug. 3-4 for drainage work

The area around 8000 Windersgate Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Aug. 3, at 8 a.m. for cross-drain replacement, Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments said.

The closure is scheduled to remain in effect until Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 5 p.m., the officials said.

Motorists are asked to follow posted detour signage. The departments said the roadway will be accessible at the end of each working day.

Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments urged drivers and residents to use caution in the area while work is under way.
