ORIGINAL STORY

Southaven police are looking for a suspect or suspects in a fatal late night shooting at an apartment complex Friday night.

Police say officers arrived at The Luxe of Southaven complex, 5905 Airways Blvd., shortly after 10:30 p.m.

Arriving in the 100 block of the complex they found a victim dead. CPR was administered until EMS arrived and confirmed the victim had no vitals.

Another victim, who had been shot three times, ran away from the initial scene and was found in the 200 block of the complex. Police say the second victim was shot under the arm in the upper chest area.

That person was rushed to Regional One Health in Memphis and is reported to be in critical but stable condition.  Police are now looking for the suspect or suspects.

It’s the second shooting incident in the complex in over a month. In April, a victim was shot trying to recover a stolen vehicle in the same complex. The person shot lived in a nearby subdivision and came to the complex to recover it. That person was met by four suspects, a confrontation took place and the car owner was shot.
