The Olive Branch Police Department is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian near Highway 302 and Whippoorwill Drive. Officers were dispatched at approximately 4:34 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, regarding the crash, according to the City of Olive Branch.
Officers and emergency medical personnel found a male pedestrian who had been struck. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. The department said additional information will be released as it becomes available and as appropriate while the investigation continues.
