Olive Branch Police Department clarifies fishing pond availability for annual event
The Olive Branch Police Department clarified that the pond at Olive Branch City Park is open for the OB Fishing Rodeo, dismissing an old sign that suggested otherwise, according to a social media post.
Officials urged residents to come out and register for the event, which is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today. The post encouraged residents to leave home now and participate.
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, along with city parks and recreation officials, promoted the event and thanked the community for their interest. The post was shared by the Olive Branch Police Department on social media to clear up any confusion about the pond’s status.
