The Olive Branch Police Department said it was invited to the second annual Donuts With Dads event with the Olive Branch High School Conquistador football team, according to a department social media post.
The post said elected officials, community leaders, dads, coaches and administrators spoke at the event in the school’s performing arts building. The department quoted several of the words shared, including “Blue and Gold,” “Respect,” “Courage,” “Accountability,” “OB Pride” and “Discipline.”
The department said in the post it aims to build positive relationships with young people in the community and to model integrity. It wished the Conquistadors a safe and disciplined season as the team begins play.
The department’s post included tags for Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, the City of Olive Branch government, Sheriff Thomas E. Tuggle, DeSoto County Schools eNews and OB Pride, according to the social media entry.
