Olive Branch police hold annual department picnic

The Olive Branch Police Department held its annual Department Picnic this past Saturday, describing the gathering as a tradition honoring the work, commitment and courage of its officers and the families who support them, according to a post from the department.

The department said officers’ families make sacrifices that can include missed holidays, postponed vacations, birthdays spent apart and other moments put on hold.

The department also thanked the donors it said helped make the picnic memorable: The Delta Regional Foundation and Jackpot Bingo, Milwaukee Tools, Williams Sonoma, Heath Riles, Jason Clinton, Double Barrell, Frontier Western Store, Emilio’s, Blueline Inflatables, Mr. Softee Ice Cream, Chick-fil-A, Walmart and Jersey Mike’s.
