The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce announced a Music Around the Square ribbon cutting in downtown Hernando, describing the event as the kickoff to another season of music, community and activities. The chamber invited people to attend the celebration and stay downtown to hear the music around the square.
The chamber said it partnered with the City of Hernando, Mississippi, to install speakers on selected light poles around the square. Wisdom Integrators handled the installation, which the chamber said would provide a constant stream of music for shoppers and diners downtown.
The chamber said the projects were made possible by ARPA funds provided by the Mississippi Main Street Association through the Mississippi Legislature.
