DeSoto County Government has once again received the Best in Benefits Award. The award recognizes employers who offer the best benefit plans relative to their peers.
DeSoto County Government has been recognized with a 2020 Best in Benefits Award
Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance partnered with Assurex Global and The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers to review medical plan designs, premiums, and contributions from 110 employers and ranked each by the lowest cost-highest benefit.
DeSoto County ranked in the Top Ten of all employers surveyed. “Being recognized two years in a row as having the Best Benefits shows the commitment DeSoto County Supervisors have to our employees and their wellbeing,” says Carla Crockett, Director of Human Resources.
DeSoto County Government offers benefits to more than 570 full time employees in multiple departments and agencies, including all county departments, most courthouse employees, the Sheriff’s department, and Emergency Services.
