The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce said Debbie Mendenhall gave attendees an inside look at the impact of tourism in DeSoto County during the chamber’s Grits & Government event.
Debbie Mendenhall, executive director of the DeSoto County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Landers Center, outlined opportunities at the Landers Center and discussed how tourism and the venue contribute to the local economy, the chamber said.
The chamber thanked everyone who attended and said Mississippi Queen Catering provided the breakfast served at the event.
The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce said it looks forward to its next Grits & Government gathering.
