Two DeSoto County sites on Best of Mississippi Travel Awards ballot

DeSoto County said two local attractions are on the ballot for the Best of Mississippi Travel Awards and urged residents to vote before the June 15 deadline.

The county named Hernando DeSoto River Park in the Best Biking category, Hernando Dickens of a Christmas in the Best Holiday Attraction category and Silo Square MS in the Downtown Shopping category, the county said.

The county provided a link for voters: https://heyor.ca/1AGNWr. Officials said voting closes June 15.

County representatives encouraged residents to cast ballots in each category before the deadline, the county said.
