A bicyclist was fatally struck Friday morning at Germantown Road and Cedar Crest Lane, the Olive Branch Police Department said.
The department said officers were dispatched at about 6:06 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2026, after a report that a pedestrian riding a bicycle had been hit by a vehicle. Preliminary information indicates a vehicle traveling southbound on Germantown Road (Hwy. 305) struck the bicyclist, the department said.
The Olive Branch Police Department’s Traffic Division is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances of the collision, the department said.
The department said a release issued by Mayor Ken Adams, the Olive Branch Police Department and the Olive Branch Fire Department offered condolences: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
