What’s closed on Independence Day

Government offices to close for Independence Day.

Fireworks will be set off in DeSoto County cities around the Fourth of July again this year to celebrate America’s birthday.

Over the next few years, all of the fields will revert to turf surfaces instead of the current grass surfaces.

For Southaven, it is the first time the department has received accreditation with MSLEAC.
