81 vehicles broken into at or near Baptist DeSoto Hospital
Southaven police have reported that two people were in custody in Memphis related to the vehicle break ins at or around Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto on Tuesday, June 20. They have not yet been identified and charges were not immediately announced. The incident remains under investigation.
On June 20, 2023, at 12:33 AM, officers with the Southaven Police Department were called to Baptist DeSoto Hospital in reference to numerous auto burglaries. Upon arrival, officers discovered that thirty-five vehicles had been burglarized in the Baptist DeSoto parking lot.
An additional forty-six vehicles were located at hotels in the immediate area which had been burglarized.
