Rodney Hall, who is running in the Republican primary race against Southaven Alderman Charlie Hoots for State House District 20, announced he had received an endorsement from a local realtors association.

The campaign has gotten support from the Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors. Hall announced the endorsement in a news release on Friday, June 23.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement from the Northwest Mississippi Realtors,” Hall said. “Their unwavering dedication to advancing the real estate profession and promoting homeownership aligns perfectly with my commitment to fostering prosperous communities.”

The Republican primary for the seat is among the races being contested in the Aug. 8 vote.

There are no Democrats vying for the seat, so the Republican primary winner advances to the general election Nov. 7 without opposition. House District 20 is a new district drawn with redistricting that includes areas of Southaven and Olive Branch along the Tennessee state line.
