The City of Southaven is hiring a fire inspector-investigator, according to a job posting on the city’s website. The position focuses on public safety, fire prevention and risk reduction for residents and businesses.

The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce said the Olive Branch Farmers Market has been certified for the 2026 market season, and officials urged residents to visit the front lawn of City Hall for Genuine MS vendors and local goods.
