Olive Branch to close Kirk Road for tree removal May 29

Olive Branch Public Works will close Kirk Road between South Crossroads and Forest Hill Irene from 9 a.m. to noon on May 29 for tree removal, a notice from Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments said.

Motorists were asked to use alternate routes during the closure, the notice said.

The notice identified the closure as temporary and said work would be limited to the morning hours. It was issued by the mayor’s office and the city’s emergency departments, the notice said.

Officials urged drivers and residents to follow posted detours and instructions from police and fire personnel during the work, the notice added.
