Hustle training camp roster released
The Memphis Hustle, the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, has finalized its 2022-23 training camp roster, the team announced today. Additionally, the team selected guards Ty Gordon and Keith Williams in the first round of the 2022 NBA G League Draft.
Gordon (6-1, 200) appeared in 54 games (46 starts) for Nicholls State University over two seasons, holding averages of 17.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists, while shooting 44.8% from the field in 33.4 minutes per game. Prior to attending Nicholls State, the Tunica native played at Northwest Mississippi Community College and Troy University.
Williams (6-5, 215) appeared in 121 games (83 starts) for the University of Cincinnati over four seasons, holding averages of 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 42.4% from the field in 22.5 minutes per game. The Brooklyn native most recently spent time with the Otago Nuggets of the NBL, holding averages of 21.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 18 appearances.
The team will hold its 2022 Training Camp at the Memphis Grizzlies Built Ford Tough Training Facility inside FedExForum from Oct. 24-Nov. 3. Training camp practices are closed to the public.
