The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ NBA G League affiliate, fell to the Long Island Nets 111-100 on Thursday afternoon.

Both teams got off to a shaky start on the offensive end of the court, but the Hustle (5-9) were able to convert five Nets turnovers into nine points to grab a 23-19 lead after the first 12 minutes of play. Long Island (6-8) quickly erased the Memphis lead with a 13-2 run to begin the second quarter, giving the Nets a 32-25 lead with 8:11 to play before half. After trailing 55-47, Memphis ripped off a 15-4 run to take the lead at 62-59 following an acrobatic layup from Shaq Buchanan with 7:20 to play in the quarter.
