Arrest made in Hernando stabbing incident

Hernando Police Chief Scott Worsham said on his Facebook page Wednesday night an arrest had been made in connection with a stabbing incident in the city.  

Worsham said Louis McLean St. John, age 18, was taken into custody. 

The police chief provided few details about the stabbing, which occurred in the vicinity of Hill Street Wednesday. Worsham did state officers were in the area of East Parkway and a perimeter had been established with two K-9 teams tracking St. John.  

St. John is being charged with aggravated assault. There has been no information released regarding a victim or the extent of injuries.  Worsham did say the stabbing was an isolated event.
