Olive Branch officials commemorate 25th anniversary of Sept. 11 attacks
The City of Olive Branch is marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, which the city said forever changed the nation. The city identified Sept. 11, 2026, as the anniversary date.
Mayor Adams, the Olive Branch Board of Aldermen and the City of Olive Branch joined communities across the country in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. The city also honored the families, friends, first responders and others whose lives were forever affected.
The city said the commemoration recognizes the courage and sacrifice shown during the attacks and the strength of a nation that came together in response to the tragedy.
