Two hurt in I-269 accident

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) has reported that two people were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon, March 15.  

According to MHP, the accident took place on I-269 in DeSoto County shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

According to the Patrol, a 2012 Kenworth traveling south on I-269 ran off the roadway. 

Two people were hurt but their identities and extent of injuries were not immediately available.   

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
