Westbound lanes of Highway 78 at Interstate 269 are closed because of a vehicle fire, the Olive Branch Police Department and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office said.
The agencies said the alert was posted via Nixle by Ken Adams, Olive Branch’s mayor.
Officials urged motorists to use alternate routes while emergency crews work at the scene.
Officials did not immediately provide information on injuries or when the lanes would reopen.
