Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves made stops in Olive Branch on Thursday, to support Mayor Ken Adams’ re-election campaign, but also to promote economic development in the region with a stop to tour the Teleflex facility at 11245 N. Distribution Cv. in Olive Branch.

Teleflex Inc., is a medical equipment maker based in Limerick, Pennsylvania, that established a distribution center in Olive Branch. The facility occupies an existing 627,000-square-foot space.

Within four years of operation, Teleflex expects to employ approximately 225 workers at this location. The project received support from the Mississippi Development Authority’s Momentum Mississippi Incentives program and local tax incentives from the City of Olive Branch.

In 2023, Teleflex earned its sixth straight number one ranking for large companies in the MedReps.com Best Places to Work ranking. In 2022, the company earned Forbes Magazine’s listing among the top employers for diversity.

Reeves said the work of Teleflex is to empower healthcare professionals nationally.

“They’re employing many great Mississippians and are one of the reasons why we’re seeing such tremendous economic success in DeSoto County,” Reeves said on his X/Twitter feed.
