One man died and two others were injured in a shooting Sunday night at Kabuki restaurant in Horn Lake, according to the Horn Lake Police Department. Officers responded at about 8:35 p.m. to 749 Goodman Road and found a male victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said 24-year-old Justin Conrad was taken to Baptist DeSoto Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries. The department also identified 24-year-old Jaelind Conrad as Justin’s twin brother; Jaelind was transported from Baptist East to Regional One Trauma Center and was last listed in stable condition.
A third man, identified as 25-year-old Marterius McShane, went to Regional One with a single gunshot wound to the leg. Horn Lake police said witness interviews and video led investigators to conclude that McShane shot both Justin and Jaelind Conrad and fled the scene.
Police said a murder warrant was issued for McShane in connection with Justin Conrad’s death. McShane was being detained at Regional One until he could be medically released and taken into custody on the warrant.
The department also said the investigation remained active and that investigators were still working to identify an unknown shooter. Anyone with information was urged to contact Horn Lake police at 662-393-6174.
