Honoring DeSoto County Veterans
Olive Branch holds the luncheon each year to recognize veterans who live in and around the city. In its announcement, the city said it looks forward to gathering “to recognize and celebrate the veterans” who have served the country and the community.
Olive Branch is not the only DeSoto County city planning a Veterans Day meal. Southaven has scheduled its own luncheon for Nov. 11, so veterans in both cities have more than one chance to be honored this year. Families who want to bring a veteran relative to the Olive Branch event should register early, since space is limited.
