Olive Branch police thank teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week
The Olive Branch Police Department’s School Resource Officer Division thanked teachers at area schools for Teacher Appreciation Week, the department said in a social media post.
The post named Olive Branch High School-OB Pride, Center Hill High School, Overpark Elementary School, Olive Branch Intermediate School, Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Olive Branch Middle School, Chickasaw Elementary School-CES, Centerhill Middle School, Olive Branch Elementary School and Desoto County Career & Technology Center East.
The department said SROs frequently work alongside teachers to help ensure students’ needs are met and that students are cared for each day.
The post included the line “A picture is worth a thousand words,” thanked teachers and the mothers who teach and guide children, and wished women a “Happy Mother’s Day,” the department said. The post also tagged Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch government.
