Olive Branch Police name three sergeants Officers of the Month

The Olive Branch Police Department said it named Sgt. Andrew White, Sgt. Eric Gruta and Sgt. Zachary Hall its Officers of the Month for July 2026 for life-saving actions during a critical incident, the department said.

In July, the department said its officers responded to a critical incident at a local apartment complex. The department said the three sergeants provided immediate aid to a severely injured victim and stabilized the person until emergency medical personnel arrived.

The department credited the sergeants’ calm leadership, sound judgment, professionalism and teamwork for helping the victim survive the incident, the department said.

The Olive Branch Police Department said the sergeants exemplify the highest standards of law enforcement and thanked them for their service. The department announced the honors and offered congratulations to Sgt. Andrew White, Sgt. Eric Gruta and Sgt. Zachary Hall, the department said.
