The Olive Branch Police Department thanked Sheriff Floyd Bonner Jr. for 46 years of service, including eight years as Shelby County sheriff, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.
In a statement posted by the sheriff’s office, the department praised Bonner’s “unwavering commitment, courage and compassion” to residents of Shelby County.
The department also thanked him for all he has done for the county and wished him an enjoyable retirement, the statement said.
