Olive Branch Police Department to hold fall Citizen Police Academy Sept. 3-Nov. 5

The Olive Branch Police Department announced Thursday that its Fall Citizen Police Academy will run Sept. 3 to Nov. 5, 2026, giving residents a 10-week, hands-on look at local law enforcement, the department said.

The department said classes will be held Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will include demonstrations and presentations such as DUI demonstrations, K-9 operations, SWAT presentations, school resource officer briefings and criminal investigations overviews. The department said snacks and door prizes will be provided at each session.

Applications are available online at the City of Olive Branch website, the announcement said, and may be picked up at the Olive Branch Police Department, 10470 Highway 178, Olive Branch, Mississippi 38654.
