The Olive Branch Police Department said it was invited to Olive Branch Elementary for the school’s annual “Donuts with Grownups” event on the Tuesday and Wednesday referenced in its post.
Afterward, officers went to Center Hill High School for the DeSoto County Schools Fall Special Olympics Games, according to the department.
The department said it enjoyed both events and has had them marked on its calendar for the past two years. It said it looks forward to spending the mornings with students, families, teachers and staff.
The Olive Branch Police Department thanked Olive Branch Elementary and Center Hill High School for the invitations and for allowing it to take part in the tradition.
