Olive Branch officers to compete in National LawFit Challenge
The Olive Branch Police Department said Monday that several of its officers will compete in the National LawFit Challenge and thanked them for dedicating hours of training, according to a department news release.
The department said physical fitness is an essential part of law enforcement and can make the difference between life and death in critical situations.
The news release said the officers embraced the commitment through discipline and hard work and that the department is proud of their efforts. The department added it expects the team to represent Olive Branch with professionalism, strength and integrity.
In a city news release, Mayor Ken Adams and City of Olive Branch officials urged the community to wish the team luck and said the city is behind them as they compete.
