The Olive Branch Police Department said its LawFit team finished fourth in the 4-man competition at the National LawFit Challenge in July, and Sgt. Andrew White placed third in the sit-and-reach event.
The department identified the 4-man team as Sgt. Zachery Hall, Officer Cedrick Green, Officer John Turner and Officer Johnny Rucker, according to a post on the department’s social media account.
The department said it was proud of the officers’ “hard work, dedication and commitment to physical fitness” and thanked those who trained, competed and represented Olive Branch in the event.
In the post, the department described the National LawFit Challenge as more than a competition, saying it promotes fitness, camaraderie, teamwork and healthy competition among law enforcement officers nationwide.
The Olive Branch Police Department said it looks forward to competing again next year.
