Olive Branch mayor honors firefighters’ courage and sacrifice

Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams urged residents to join in honoring firefighters’ courage and sacrifice, particularly the men and women of the Olive Branch Fire Department, he said in a statement.

“Today we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of firefighters everywhere, but especially to the men and women of the Olive Branch Fire Department,” Adams said. “Join us as we honor those who run toward danger to protect our communities and keep the City of Olive Branch safe.”

Adams attributed the safety of the city to the efforts of the department and called on the community to participate in the observance, according to his statement.

The remarks were delivered by Adams in the mayor’s statement encouraging public recognition of firefighters’ service, the statement said.
