Naming rights part of new agreement for sports complex

Owner Greg Drumwright of the Fieldhouse sports complex has announced that the multi-sports facility is changing its name to reflect a new partnership.

The facility, located east of McIngvale Road on Green T Road off I-269 in Hernando, is being rebranded as The Gatorade Fieldhouse. The name comes with an agreement with the Pepsi Company and its national brands, including Gatorade.

“The Gatorade Fieldhouse is already making its mark on Hernando and North Mississippi ahead of our 2021 opening,” said Drumwright. “Before we’ve even opened the doors, we’re able to make a difference through collaborations with sponsors who also support a healthier lifestyle and helping athletes reach their full potential.”

Saying The Gatorade Fieldhouse is thrilled to have the connection with Gatorade and Pepsi’s drink family as the exclusive sports drink partner, Drumwright said people using the facility and coming to events there will see signage from Pepsi and Gatorade. Athletes and staff will also have access to their brands during training.

“Known for fueling the athletes of today and tomorrow, Gatorade is a welcome addition to us and our community,” Drumwright said.

The 62,000 square feet facility is slated to open this winter. The Gatorade Fieldhouse will feature four indoor NCAA regulation basketball courts, volleyball, climate-controlled and open-air space for baseball and softball, on-site orthopedics, 4,500 square feet of strength and conditioning, and more.

The Gatorade Fieldhouse is seeking additional sponsors to showcase their organization to a local and regional  audience, including naming rights for specific courts to other areas of exposure at the facility.
