Mississippi emergency agency urges residents to sign up for weather alerts

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency urged residents to use multiple channels to receive severe weather warnings and updates, the agency said.

The agency’s post said residents can receive weather alerts from the City of Olive Branch by texting ‘olivebranch’ to 888777.

The post listed Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, the Olive Branch Police Department and the Olive Branch Fire Department, the agency said.
